Women and Non-binary People Drop-in Bike Chat

January 29, 2020 - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

That’s right! We know how important it is to have spaces where you feel relaxed and you can ask all the questions that you wanna ask about anything bike related!

I am an experienced bike mechanic that identifies as female and gay and I sure as heck know how tricky it can be navigating those workshop spaces even for myself.

So.. if you identify as a woman, trans woman or a non-binary person and… :

+ You have a bike that you’re not sure of?
Bring it, I can assess it for you FOR FREE, and if it’s small adjustments and tweaks we can do it there and then. If it’s bigger jobs that will require more time and new parts I can go through the assessment process with you and get it booked if you wish so! So either way you get to learn a thing or two about your bike!

+ If you’re not a cyclist and you’re not sure what to look for in a bike, well I can help you with that as well!

+ If you have any questions whatsoever or even if you don’t and you just wanna meet some like minded people and hang out and drink tea and eat biscuits please do come!

The goal is to build a space of support, cooperation and mutual help.

So come to the Glasgow Bike Hive or spread the word so others know it’s happening!
