GoBike
GoBike campaign for better infrastructure, policy, and political support for cycling to be a safe, efficient, clean and healthy mode of active travel for everyone. They support the need for spaces to be designed to be readily accessible for everyone whether walking, wheeling or cycling.
GoBike is a social movement and they focus largely on campaigning and consultations. GoBike are a volunteer member led organisation who’s funding comes entirely from their members by annual donation.
Alongside campaigning for better infrastructure and policy, GoBike provide routes and organise regular social group rides.
Some of their campaigns include:
- Bike lanes are great for business
- Streets for all Glasgow
- Councillor tours
- Paint is not protection
- Car free days
- 20mph for Glasgow
