Women On Wheels
Women on Wheels (SCIO) is a Glasgow based community cycling hub for women and their families. All services are designed and led by women with the aim to empower women of all backgrounds and abilities to become confident cyclists.
Since launching in March 2022, Women On Wheels have helped hundreds of women, girls and their families on their cycling journeys. Their services are tailored to suit all levels from complete beginners to seasoned cyclists looking for an adventure.
They offer a Women’s Programme, Teen Programme and a Families Programme with a wide range of activities and services on offer:
Their definition of Women includes Trans and Intersex women, and is welcome to non-binary people who feel comfortable in a space that centres the experience of women.
